The Varsity Boys and Girls team continued conference play this week on the road.  The Varsity Girls had a successful week winning all three games and remain undefeated in conference play with a record of 4-0-0.  The boys ended the week with two wins and their first loss of the season. Their overall record improved to 9-1-2 and their conference record 3-1-0.

Both girls and boys teams faced strong Riverwood teams in extremely cold and windy weather on Tuesday. The girls held strong and came away with a 3-2 win while the boys suffered their first defeat to a talented two time 5A state champion Riverwood team (_DSC02641-4). The girls and boys team regrouped and came out strong to sweep Fayette County on Thursday in a non-conference game. The girls posted a 7-1 victory while the boys fought through a double overtime to post a 3-2 victory. On Friday both teams shut out Carver 10-0.  Next week both teams travel to North Springs High School on Tuesday and then travel down the road to take on rival Decatur High on Friday.

Looking ahead, Grady Soccer will host its 4th Annual Community Night on Friday, April 14 when the varsity teams take on Tucker High School at Grady Stadium.  The Varsity Girls kick off at 5:30 pm while the Varsity Boys kick off at 7:30pm. Grady Soccer will also host its annual Senior Night Ceremony to recognize our nine graduating seniors:
