Multiple Teams · Grady Soccer Season Kicks Off Season on February 2 Against Rival North Atlanta


The Grady Soccer teams kick off the 2018 season when the Boys and Girls Varsity teams take on rival North Atlanta at North Atlanta on Friday February 2. The first home games of the season are Saturday February 10 when the teams face off against another rival –  Paideia High – at Grady stadium.   The JV boys kick off the season with a home game against Jackson High on February 12 at Grady.

The Varsity Home Game Schedule is as follows. Community and Senior Night will be held Friday, March 23 when Grady takes on rival Decatur at Grady Stadium.

  • Tuesday Feb 13 – Drew Academy (Girls/ Boys)- 5:30 & 7:30 PM
  • Thursday March 1 – Woodward (Girls/Boys) – 5:00 & 7:00 PM
  • Friday March 16 – Carver (Girls/Boys) – 5:30 & 7:30 PM
  • Wednesday March 21 –North Springs (Girls/Boys)  – 5:30 & 7:30 PM
  • Friday March 23 – Decatur (Girls/Boys)  – 5:30 & 8:00 PM (COMMUNITY AND SENIOR NIGHT!!)
  • Thursday March 29 – Riverwood (Girls/Boys) – 5:30 & 7:30 PM
  • Thursday April 12 – Clarkston (boys Only) – 530 PM
  • Wednesday April 18 – Druid Hills (Girls/Boys) – 5:30 & 7:30 PM

The Boys Varsity team, led by Captains Caleb Weinstock, Jack Hudson, and Adam Durham, are seeking to build on their success from last season. The Boys Varsity team made it all the way to the 5A State Playoff Final Four and finished the season ranked #5 in the state with an overall record of 14-6-2.

The Girls Varsity Team, led by Captains Courtney Martin, Lena Brown and Anna Tischer, are expecting another competitive season as well. The Girls made it to the State Playoff Quarterfinals and finished the season ranked #8 in the state with an overall record of 12-7-1.
