Boys Varsity Football · Schratwieser Shines at Regional Kicking Camp

Atlanta, GA – Senior Reid Schratwieser represented Grady at June’s KickingWorld camp and came home as the Atlanta Champion, winning two out of three championship categories.

Held at Chapel Hill High School, the 2-day kicking competition featured some of the top high school kickers from Georgia and other states in the Southeast.

Schratwieser competed in the Older Group Division (10th grade+) and earned the Golden Boot Award by making a 48-yard field goal and the Kickoff Competition Award for longest kickoff at the camp. As a champion, he is invited to the December KickingWorld national showcase held in Austin, TX.

The first official practice in pads for the team is August 1 and the regular season kicks off Friday, August 23 vs. North Atlanta.
