Girls Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Prepares for Region Tournament

The Varsity Volleyball team will compete in the Region 6AAAAA Tournament beginning Saturday, October 10 at Chapel Hill High School and continuing Wednesday, October 14 at Villa Rica High School. The Knights finished with a region record of 4-2 and will enter the tournament as the #3 seed behind Chapel Hill and North Springs. Their first round match will be held at 10:00am vs. #6 New Manchester, who Grady defeated 2-0 on September 17.

The first day of the Region Tournament will be hosted by Chapel Hill High School and spectators should be aware of the following procedures and protocols:

  • Tickets should be purchased in advance online at
  • There will be no concessions sold but fans may bring food and beverages into the gym
  • Social distancing in the stands will be adhered to by all patrons.
  • All spectators are strongly advised to wear face coverings.
  • The following types of bags will be permitted inside DCSS sporting events
    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″x6″x12″
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags
    • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5″x6.5″

The second day of the Region Tournament will be hosted by Villa Rica High School on October 14, with matches beginning at 5:30pm. We will communicate their protocols for spectators as soon as we receive them.
